After being rained out on Wednesday, the powers that be decided to put on the yearly Fireworks display on Thursday evening. During the show I was sitting there thinking to myself “You’re kidding me right?” I then remembered why this was the first time I had gone to said display in several years.

I shot some video of the “finale” from my Sony Cybershot and while the video quality might not be the best (Sound sucks) I think it will be easy to see why apparently no one around here is capable of doing anything right. I’m pretty sure I had never seen a finale that starts then stops then starts then stops. (Until now that is) I guess they felt anticipation would heighten sensation.

It’s a good thing there was no musical accompaniment. Pathetic …I felt robbed especially after donating to the “Fireworks Fund” while entering the park. HeH!

If you weren’t present to witness the start of the show and its snail pace you’ll have to take my word for it when I say this entire sequence was “supposed” to be the finale …DoH!
