Halloween Party!

November 4th, 2007 by Shaun

  • Halloween Party!! …

  • I haven’t posted in forever but I haven’t had much to speak of lately, plus I simply haven’t been in the mood to sit in front of a PC for any length of time. With that said however I had my Halloween Bash last weekend and it was interesting to say the least.

Halloween parties are like a natural inhibition eliminator. I swear 95% of the women showed up in shit they wouldn’t be caught dead in on a daily basis. All I know is I am putting in a stripper pole before my next party …I shit you not!

The party went well until about 1AM at which point I tossed everyone out of the house. Why? I’m guessing it had something to do with the stealing of games and movies along with the intentional spilling of drinks and the fire hosing of my bathroom. That individual can consider themselves lucky they weren’t caught in the act.

There were other senseless acts of drama that I could go into but you get the idea. Don’t get me wrong I had a great time while the party lasted but the number of unknown guests of friends will most certainly be limited the next time I throw a party. (Christmas/New Years) Hint Hint …HeH.

  • The Ass Shot …

  • More Pictures …

  • You can see more pics from the party at my MySpace profile which can be found by clicking HERE or the link on the sidebar from the homepage.

    Free Hugs Anyone ?! …

    August 8th, 2007 by Shaun

  • HUGS !!!

  • I have to give credit to my friend Zach since he enlightened me by turning me on to this while browsing his MySpace page about a month ago. (Yeah I’m a slacker)

I had never heard of the Free Hugs Campaign nor had I ever listened to music from the Sick Puppies (At least that I know of …DoH!)

  • Free Hugs Campaign Video

  • Normally I’m not the type to get all sentimental or emotional about anything (Unless it’s hostility …HA) but this video actually got to me. It made me stop and think about the human condition or should I say the deteriorating state of it.

A hundred years ago people had virtually no communication tools at all. If you wanted something or simply wanted to talk to someone, you couldn’t just pick up the phone. You couldn’t just hop on IM or send a text message.

You actually had to engage people to get what you wanted. Everyone knew their neighbors which made for stronger communities and families. Corny or not if you sit back and think about it reasonably it makes perfect sense.

    On the other hand …

In modern times we as a people are far more detached from one another then ever before in our history. Sure we can call people and we can hit people up on IM and send messages on social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook ETC. We can text message people and send email and so on.

But chew on this for a moment …

Take a minute to look out the window at your neighborhood. Now ask yourself how many of those people in those houses do you actually know? If you passed any of them in a store would you even recognize them? How many of them have you ever actually spoken too?

How many of them have ever been to your house? How many of their houses have you ever had the pleasure or displeasure of visiting? Do you know their kids names? Do you know anything about them other then the fact that they live across the street?

I have lived in the same suburb for a little over three years now and I can say that I probably know or have engaged two or three of my neighbors at most. I don’t talk to them and they don’t talk to me. It’s not a matter or like or dislike it’s simply that we don’t engage or socially interact with each the way our parents and our grand parents generations did.

We all have friends but how many of those friends do you really trust? How many of those people you call friends do you really …and I mean really know? People just don’t take time out for one another anymore and it’s sad really but it’s the world we live in.

Even I find the Free Hugs Campaign a little corny but it’s also quite significant and should encourage all of us to reach out to one another and make more of an effort to engage our friends and neighbors a little more.

In other words GO GET YOUR HUG ON ….HA!!

    “Friends” …HA.

    August 1st, 2007 by Shaun

  • Fake Ass People ….

  • I always found it interesting to see how many of your companions who claim to be your friends react in certain situations.

Who calls you and who doesn’t call you when everyone gets together? Who invites you out and who doesn’t? Who talks smack about you when you’re not around? Who sticks up for you when you’re not around? When these people call is it simply to call or is it because they want something from you?

It takes all types but it’s easy to spot who is and who is not a true friend. It’s easy to see who truly cares about you and who merely tolerates you due to mutual association amongst many other reasons. Talking badly about individuals behind ones back, violating the “Man Laws”, stealing from ones home, lying to ones face, disrespecting you and who you are or what you stand for …It’s easy to see.

It doesn’t matter in what way you choose to shit on someone. Somehow some way it always gets back to those you’ve tried to screw over. One thing I know for certain (Believe me) is that Karma is indeed a bitch and sooner or later she kicks all of us in the junk.

Keep that in mind the next time you think about running your mouth about someone or the next time you think about doing any number of the things above. Especially when you’re in a public setting no matter how close you think you are with the people you’re with …DoH!!

I’ve recently realized that several people I know could be considered “Fake Friends” and it’s a shame really. With that said, people are who they are and no matter how many toes I may or may not step on I refuse to kiss anyone’s ass over what I find to be simple or petty matters.

I suppose it only serves to show that it doesn’t necessarily mean that people grow up as they grow old …HeH!

    Happy Birthday …

    June 18th, 2007 by Shaun

Happy Birthday to one of my retarded friends Tiff.

Her man Josh wanted to throw a surprise party for her on Saturday night but like the walking penis he is it didn’t quite go to plan. We were to assemble at his place at 9:00 to get ready for their arrival but when we got there at 9:04 guess who was already sitting in the driveway? (Shakes his head)

  • BEER …

  • I was in usual form after a few hours as evidence by the pictures below. Steve and I decided to demonstrate Drunken Couch Kickboxing and then just to spite Josh (Even though we love the guy) who is a major homophobe we demonstrated Drunken Couch Man Sex …LOL.

During a game of Asshole Josh was El Presidente and I believe his exact words were “Drink for insinuating gayness”. Good times with a great bunch of dumb asses. :)
