I’m more then a little late on this one as usual but after watching this fight for the fifth of sixth time now I figured I’d throw it just for the hell of it. I uploaded it to my barely used YouTube almost two weeks ago and its been watched well over 20K times in all its parts.
I won’t bother going into some rant about how boxing has taken a beating over the last decade but as a fan of the sport I must say this was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen. If you have the time and enjoy a good beat down from start to finish you should take a look.
September is always a good time of the year. It usually means that the heat of summer will soon break if it hasn’t done so already. It usually means all the kids that are normally running around pissing you off are back in school and out your hair …and so on and so on. September means a lot of things but most importantly it means football!
College …
The NCAA kicked off it’s fall season this weekend with a lot of the normal not so spectacular boring ass 60 point spreads and a few surprising games that were actually worth watching. Appalachian State upset #5 Michigan 34-32 and in the process cost me $100.00 as it was my only loss on this week’s football ticket. Michigan looked disgraceful and should consider itself lucky if it remains in the top 20.
NFL …
This week the NFL gets going with its season opener on Thursday (September 6th) with a potential Super Bowl XLII preview featuring New Orleans VS Indianapolis. While I have no love for either of these two teams I’ll still more then likely find myself in front of the TV on Thursday night taking in the game.
Another Long Season …
As much as I love football I’m not looking forward to the long season I feel I’m in for as a Chiefs fan. It should however make for some interesting weekends throwing shit around my house over the usual dropped passes and other bonehead plays that seem to plague me every year.
In the end though I suppose it could be worse …I could be an Eagles fan. The Eagles have been to the 2000’s what the Buffalo Bills were to the early 1990’s.
Relief …
The season shouldn’t be a total loss now that LJ is back in camp and ready to run against Texas in the opener. That is of course assuming he doesn’t break his leg or have his head fall off in some freak accident.
